About the show

Our Youth Theatre took Lucy Catherine’s play Paper Wings on tour between Bristol – London in September 2009, following its premiere at the Arnolfini in May 2009.  Paper Wings was originally commissioned from Lucy Catherine by Bristol Old Vic for thier Young Company.

Somewhere in the world there is a boy. Not quite man.  Somewhere in the world is a girl. Not quite a woman.  Our boy, hurt, angry and drunk does something he must make reparation for.  He is tough, he has to be, but is he tough enough to seek forgiveness?  Our girl trusts no one.  She has no one.  Can she love this boy?
