Travelling Light Tasters
Try something new…
Travelling Light Taster Workshops offer free, friendly and fun opportunities to try out new skills in a relaxed environment. All our workshops take place in Bristol and are led by our expert crew of creative practitioners. You must be aged 10 – 18 to attend. Previous Tasters have included:
NINJA SCHOOL - Stage Fight Choreography
INTRODUCTION TO THEATRE CLOWNING
STAGE COMBAT BEGINNERS
DRAMA GAMES: IMPROV & IMAGINATION
Each workshop is a one-off special event, and there are two ways to get involved:
Open Tasters
FREE pop-up Tasters in local places open to young people; including parks, youth clubs, adventure playgrounds and community centres. There is no need to book for Open Tasters, you can just turn up and join in.
Targeted Tasters
We can come in as special guests to clubs or projects you might already take part in e.g. sports clubs, youth clubs, Scouts/Guides, etc. You have to be involved in the group to attend these sessions.
If you would like Travelling Light to run a Taster with a club you attend, or if you are an adult who would like to host a Taster with a group/project you organise then please e-mail takepart@travellinglighttheatre.org.uk, and we can see what we can do.
“Sometimes it’s hard to get that particular age group to engage with an activity, but they really enjoyed it.”
